“Deep in the dog days of August, one of the last places you may ever want to find yourself is on a sailboat in Eastern Bay. I’m talking about those soggy, humid days when the wind speed hovers between one and two knots, the sails hang limp and damp, and even the Miami Vice boats rumbling past begin to look appealing–because at least they’re moving. It’s no wonder then that after five sweltering days of cruising down the Miles River from the Magothy, St. Michaels Harbour Inn Marina & Spa rose up before us like a mirage in the desert.”
